My maternity experience sessions are not just 'having your photos done' they are SO MUCH more than that!
I am a little different in style to other maternity photoshoots you will see. I champion confidence and powerful images over vulnerability. I want to empower every woman that sets foot into my studio - you'll have the rest of your life to make baby your main focus, this shoot is more for you, to make you feel powerful and to celebrate your body and what it is capable of. Your final images will be powerful, timeless and classic. No cheesy, cringey or cutesy posing.
I provide all dresses and fabrics, each dress I choose is specially selected, handmade and extremely versatile. I have something for every body shape and size. They are all incredibly unique and photograph beautifully. I'm always ordering more and you will be given a questionnaire on booking to choose your looks. I direct the entire session and show you how to pose - you will leave feeling the most confident you have ever been <3

Your Session Fee Includes:

£100
£100 session fee is required on booking and is non refundable.
Session fee does not include digitals or prints. You can make your image purchases from your gallery after your session.
Single digital images are £25, or the full gallery can be purchased for £300. Gallery will be active for 12 months to make your purchases.
how does it work?
I. step 1
Click the link to choose your session date and pay your deposit. I will then be in touch with your questionnaire and we can get planning!
II. step 2 - your session
You have your photoshoot with me at my usual space, your home or on location
You will receive a preparation guide and you will be fully guided in terms of posing and styling
III. step 3 - your images
You will receive your watermarked gallery 2 weeks after your session. At this time you can download your included images and make additional image purchases through the store in the gallery. If you would like to see your images without the watermarks I will invite you back to view them together.
Your gallery will be open for 3 months to make purchases.

FAQ
Where is your Studio?
I run sessions out of a space in Margam SA13 - full details will be given on booking.
Can I book for a weekend session?
Yes, subject to availability, you can book in for a Saturday. Having come from a standard 9-5 job l I completely appreciate the request for weekend sessions.
However, my Saturdays do book up EXTREMELY quickly, especially during wedding season so booking early is essential.
I do not work Sundays.
Can we do the session outdoors or at a location?
Yes, subject to location and weather. I will also always recommend times where the light is softest to make sure your images look the best they can.
Pricing is the same as a studio session but please note that only selected client wardrobe options are available for outdoors, especially beach locations.
There is a mileage charge of 45p per mile for locations over 15 miles.
Outdoor shoots are only available for Onyx collection bookings.
When should I book my Maternity Session?
You can book your maternity session as soon as you are ready to although it is recommended you book in early as I have a limited number of sessions are available each month. Your maternity session will take place at around 28-35 weeks of pregnancy.
My Saturday sessions book up 6 months in advance most of the time so early booking for one of those sessions is ESSENTIAL.
How should I prepare for my maternity session?
Each pregnancy is unique and only you will know if you need any special requirements for the session. Please communicate anything that may cause you discomfort so I can accommodate you.
You will be given a questionnaire to fill in so that we can make the most out of your shoot and decide which dresses/fabrics/accessories to use. If you have seen a dress on my website that you would really like to wear please let me know in the questionnaire so I can make sure it is available.
Other than that please do not use fake tan in the 72 hours before your session and bring a selection of white, black and especially nude underwear with you.
I will provide nipple covers for any implied nude shots or sheer dresses.
Is hair and make up included?
No. Please arrive ready to start your session. Time will not be extended to allow for application of make up when we are scheduled to be shooting.
Are you qualified in Maternity Photography?
There are currently NO OFFICIAL UK QUALIFICATIONS in maternity photography.
I am however, trained by the best and most empowering maternity photographers in the world, providing you with a one of a kind experience in South Wales.
What outfits do you have?
I have the widest range of gowns, dresses, fabrics and accessories which are all available for use during your session. You can find images of most of them on my social media accounts.
I have outfits and dresses for all shapes and sizes, everyone is catered for. If you have something of your own you would like to wear please bring it along with you!
What if I want to keep my images private?
Your privacy is VERY important to me and I will not share any of your images without your permission.
Are you dog friendly?
A million percent yes! I have a fully enclosed garden for them to chill in should they need a bit of space or the toilet.
Treats and squeaky balls are available for bribes!
Other pets are also welcome, but I will need to know in advance and you may have to bring something to keep them in during the session.
How quickly will I get my images back?
Your images will be returned to you beautifully retouched no longer than 2 weeks after your shoot
Do you photograph newborns too?
No. I can recommend 2 lovely photographers in Swansea or Cardiff who I trust to give you an amazing newborn experience but I specialise in photographing women.
