Seriously though, who WOULDNT want to get married in the grounds of an actual CASTLE?!
Margam Orangery is an absolutely stunning venue that provides the perfect setting for couples looking to tie the knot in a bright and beautiful building. The Orangery is a Grade II listed building situated in the grounds of Margam Country Park and is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, making it an ideal location for a wedding!
One of the standout features of the Margam Orangery is the stunning glasshouse, which can hold up to 120 guests for a wedding ceremony. The glass walls and roof allow for so much natural light to flood in, creating a bright and airy atmosphere for your special day! The Orangery is also licensed for civil ceremonies, so you can say your vows and exchange rings in this beautiful setting.
The gardens surrounding the Orangery are also a real highlight of this venue. The landscaped gardens are home to a wide variety of plants and flowers, providing a beautiful backdrop for wedding photos. There are also a number of secluded areas within the gardens, perfect for intimate moments between newlyweds.
And lets not forget the main attraction - a 19th Century Tudor Gothic mansion! Just the most amazing backdrop for photos!
In addition to the beautiful setting, the Margam Orangery also has a range of facilities to make your day extra special. The venue has a fully licensed bar and a catering team that can provide a range of delicious menus for your wedding breakfast and evening reception.
If you're looking for accommodation, there are a number of options nearby but my personal choice is Tyn Celler farm, a charming rustic farm with various accommodation options including B&B rooms and self catering cottages. You can book in or see more here:
The Orangery is honestly one of my favourite wedding venues!
Maybe I'm biased as I live literally next door but this venue really is special. You know I love a castle and this one is just amazing.
